I reviewed James back in 2016 when he was with another agency (I actually joined Yelp just to write that review); it is worth repeating the review now that James has started his own company. Here is what we said:

James Strum found our dream home.

We contacted James after several months of researching the Richmond market online and presented him with an impossible, multi-page list of requirements. When he told us at our first meeting that he had found our dream home, we looked at one another dubiously – but he was right! Furthermore, while the house was out of our price range, new to the market, and experiencing a great deal of interest, he was somehow able to negotiate our dream price as well. The house is still our dream home nearly two years later, and we remain grateful to James.

We also appreciated the knowledge James was able to impart along the way. For example, he pointed out the “pros and cons” of various features in every home – knowledge that extended beyond that of a layperson.

Finally, he was always available and went “above and beyond” in countless ways. We recommend James highly to anyone.
